Our Collection

THE Memória Votorantim collection IS COMPOSED OF MORE THAN 600 THOUSAND ITEMS, CATALOGED AND STORED IN TECHNICAL RESERVE.

Ícone Ícone

There are photographs, documents, objects, audios and films that tell the story of Votorantim, the business of Ermírio de Moraes family and, consequently, a little of Brazil’s history.

The documentation of incorporation and communication of the companies allows us to understand the circumstances and intermissions of Votorantim’s business formation, as well as to understand the technical, legal and social procedures that involve the national industrial production over the last century

Also worthy of note is the iconographic collection, with images that date back to the beginning of the 20th century.

Accompanying the vanguards and aesthetics of different periods, the collection includes films and photographs produced by major studios and artists at the request of Votorantim. Menotti Del Picchia (1892-1988) photographic essays by the German photographer Hans Gunter Flieg (1923), known as "poet of steel and concrete"; and films by French photographer and filmmaker Jean Manzon are among the pearls that can be accessed.

Part of the collection is digitized and soon the online consultation system will be available.
